Marazion is Cornwall's oldest chartered town - and a large proportion of the housing stock reflects that. It's a short drive from my base in Longrock, which keeps callout costs down and response times up. A lot of the work in Marazion involves holiday lets requiring EICR compliance, older properties needing rewires, and the occasional consumer unit upgrade in a property where the electrics haven't been touched in decades.
The proximity to St Michael's Mount and the beach means Marazion attracts significant holiday let activity, concentrated in the older cottages and townhouses along the front.
